Over 375 professionals, family members, and self advocates traveled from across the nation to participate in the 2019 Charting the LifeCourse Showcase on May 1 and 2. The event gave participants opportunities to present the ways they are incorporating the CtLC framework into their lives, professional practice, and disability systems, as well as learn from others.

On day one, Sheli Reynolds, Ph.D., director of the Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) Nexus, gave the keynote address. Attendees heard from a plenary panel and chose from 18 breakout sessions in six practice strands. Later that evening, the group applauded leaders in the CtLC movement at an awards reception.

Day two included “Spotlight Presentations” about related work at every level, from individual to systems change, as well as live technology demonstrations. Participants also had opportunities to join in “Innovation Workgroups” and learn from multiple informal networking opportunities.
