Program, Organization, and Community Capacity Building

Program, Organization, & Community Capacity Building focuses on developing the capacity of programs and organizations to better meet the needs of the persons they serve and to adapt to changing values and policy environments. Projects also address capacity building of communities as a whole. Issues addressed include: providing program and strategic planning assistance; program evaluations, policy analysis, and needs assessments for local, state, or national organizations and providers; and assisting in implementing new or more value-based program standards and criteria for state and national policy makers.

This priority area focuses on developing the capacity of programs and organizations to better meet the needs of the persons they are serving and to adapt to changing value and policy environments.
