State Systems Change

At the forefront of systems change is the Missouri No Wrong Door project, which aims to improve access to information and services and create an easier, consumer-driven, more-efficient user journey for individuals and families who need long-term services and supports.

The Missouri Open Door (MOD) Workshop Series is a free monthly series with each workshop built around a designated topic-area that will provide immediate-use ideas and solutions for you and those you support. Workshops are held every fourth Wednesday of the month on a new topic-area.

Partnering for Systems Change

The Administration for Community Living (ACL), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Veterans Health Administration have partnered to support states’ efforts to develop coordinated systems to make it easier for consumers to access long-term care.

Rather than build new infrastructure to support these system changes, Missouri’s No Wrong Door initiative works to coordinate and enhance existing departments, staff and processes. This is particularly important for older adults and people with disabilities.
